Tim Spencer


After graduating from the University of Arizona, Tim stumbled into a career as a financial auditor in America’s corporate world. However, the joy he found creating homebrew far exceeded his passion for spreadsheets and faceless cogs, so he jumped off the ladder and landed at the American Brewers Guild in Vermont. Attending five weeks of intensive classroom lectures given by top Brewmasters from all over the country, followed by a five week apprenticeship at a local brewery led Tim to become a certified Craft Brewers Apprentice from the American Brewers Guild. His favorite thing to do is organize massive parties for saccharomyces cerevisiae in the 8th Wonder cellar, become acquainted with their phenotypes and share the results with good company.
