8th Wonder is a Houston company that makes hemp-derived THC drinks, THC gummies and zero-proof THC spirits, with a taproom in East Downtown (EaDo). The lineup includes Wonder Water THC seltzer and Ocho Verde cannabis spirit, sold online, at the taproom and at Houston-area stores. All of it is for adults 21 and over.

Sunday to Wednesday 12 PM to 10 PM, and Thursday to Saturday 12 PM to midnight. Holiday hours differ, so check the taproom page before a holiday visit. We stop serving 30 minutes before closing.

Yes. The taproom serves THC seltzers alongside our beer, including THC seltzer flights, and you can buy THC seltzers to go. You must be 21 or older to buy or drink them.

Guests under 21 are welcome onsite with a guardian at all times, but you must be 21 or older to drink beer or THC seltzers. Leashed dogs are welcome in our 1-acre beer garden. Parking is metered street parking around the neighborhood plus paid lots run by third parties. The taproom takes credit cards only.

Wonder Water comes in two strengths: 5mg or 10mg of hemp-derived Delta-9 THC per 12 oz can, so a 4-pack holds 20mg or 40mg in total. The 5mg cans are our beginner pick; the 10mg cans are for people who already know how THC affects them.

Ocho Verde is a zero-proof cannabis spirit: a hemp-derived THC spirit in a 750mL bottle that you pour like liquor, into mocktails or over ice, with no alcohol. It comes in seven flavors: Original (vanilla), Agave, Peach, Maracuya (passionfruit), Pineapple, Citrus and Espresso.

A THC spirit like Ocho Verde has no alcohol. Instead of proof, each pour is measured in milligrams of THC, about 4mg per 1 oz (6mg per 1.5 oz serving). It is still intoxicating and THC can take two hours or more to fully kick in, so measure your pour, pace yourself and do not drive after drinking it.

Keep it simple. Pour Wonder Water Lime over ice with a squeeze of lime for a THC Ranch Water mocktail. For Ocho Verde, measure 1 oz (about 4mg THC) and mix it with juice, soda or sparkling water over ice.
