Questions? We have answers.
How is a THC spirit different from alcohol?
A THC spirit like Ocho Verde has no alcohol. Instead of proof, each pour is measured in milligrams of THC, about 4mg per 1 oz (6mg per 1.5 oz serving). It is still intoxicating and THC can take two hours or more to fully kick in, so measure your pour, pace yourself and do not drive after drinking it.
Can I mix THC drinks with alcohol?
We do not recommend it. Our THC drinks are made as a zero-proof alternative to alcohol, and both are intoxicating, so pick one or the other. Never drive after drinking either.
Where can I buy THC drinks in Houston?
Three ways: visit the 8th Wonder taproom in East Downtown (EaDo), find a Houston-area store on our Where to Buy page, or order online at 8thwonder.com and we ship to your door.
Are hemp THC drinks legal in Texas?
Our products are made with hemp-derived THC and contain no more than 0.3% Delta-9 THC, the hemp threshold under the 2018 Farm Bill and Chapter 443 of the Texas Health and Safety Code. State laws vary, which is why we do not ship to some states.
Do I have to be 21 to buy?
Yes. Our products are for adults 21 and older only, and orders may require age verification. Keep them out of reach of children and pets.
Will it show up on a drug test?
It can. Our products contain THC, and using them may cause a positive drug test. If you are subject to drug testing, do not use THC products.
What warnings should I know about?
Warning: Contains THC. This product is intended for use by adults 21 years and older. Keep out of reach of children. There may be health risks associated with the consumption of this product. There may be additional health risks associated with the consumption of this product for those who are pregnant, nursing, or plan to become pregnant. The intoxicating effects of this product may be delayed by two or more hours. May cause drowsiness or impairment. Do not drive a motor vehicle or operate machinery while using this product. Use of this product may result in a positive drug screen.
How much THC is in Ocho Verde, and how much should I pour?
Each 750mL bottle of Ocho Verde contains 100mg THC in total: about 4mg per 1 oz pour, or about 6mg per 1.5 oz serving (roughly 17 servings per bottle). Measure with a jigger rather than free-pouring. If you are new to THC, start with a single serving and give it plenty of time before having more.
How long until I feel it?
It varies with tolerance, body weight, food and how much you pour. Effects can be delayed by two hours or more, so stick to one measured serving and wait before having more.
Are 8th Wonder THC drinks alcohol-free?
No. Our drinks and THC spirits are zero-proof: no alcohol, just hemp-derived THC. They are still intoxicating, so do not drive or operate machinery after drinking them.
Where can I see lab test results?
Certificates of Analysis (COAs) showing cannabinoid test results are posted on our COA page.
How should I store it?
Store bottles upright with the cap tight, in a cool, dark place. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

How long does shipping take, and what does it cost?
