This margarita-style serve swaps tequila for a measured 1.5 oz pour of Ocho Verde Agave, a zero-proof THC spirit, so each glass has about 6mg hemp-derived THC and no alcohol. Shake it with fresh lime and agave syrup and pour it over ice with a salt rim.
Why it works
Ocho Verde Agave has a crisp, earthy sweetness that nods to traditional agave spirits, so it carries the lime and salt the way a blanco would. Because you measure the pour, you know exactly how much THC is in the glass.
Ingredients (one serving)
- 1.5 oz Ocho Verde Agave (about 6mg THC)
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz agave syrup (more or less to taste)
- 1 oz fresh orange juice (optional, for a rounder citrus note)
- Coarse salt for the rim
- Ice and a lime wheel
Method
- Run a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass and dip it in salt.
- Measure 1.5 oz Ocho Verde Agave with a jigger and add it to a shaker.
- Add the lime juice, agave syrup and orange juice (if using), then fill the shaker with ice.
- Shake hard for 10 to 15 seconds.
- Strain over fresh ice in the salted glass and garnish with a lime wheel.

About 6mg. The recipe uses one 1.5 oz pour of Ocho Verde Agave, and each 750mL bottle holds 100mg THC (about 4mg per 1 oz). For a lighter drink, use 1 oz, about 4mg.
Can I add tequila or other alcohol?
No. We do not recommend mixing THC drinks with alcohol. Both are intoxicating, so this serve stays zero proof. Pick one or the other, and never drive after drinking either.
Can I make a pitcher?
Make the mixer in a pitcher if you like, but measure the Ocho Verde into each glass with a jigger so every guest knows their dose: 1.5 oz is about 6mg THC.
