Good to know

What is 8th Wonder?

8th Wonder is a Houston company that makes hemp-derived THC drinks, THC gummies and zero-proof THC spirits, with a taproom in East Downtown (EaDo). The lineup includes Wonder Water THC seltzer and Ocho Verde cannabis spirit, sold online, at the taproom and at Houston-area stores. All of it is for adults 21 and over.

Where can I buy THC drinks in Houston?

Three ways: visit the 8th Wonder taproom in East Downtown (EaDo), find a Houston-area store on our Where to Buy page, or order online at 8thwonder.com and we ship to your door.

Are hemp THC drinks legal in Texas?

Our products are made with hemp-derived THC and contain no more than 0.3% Delta-9 THC, the hemp threshold under the 2018 Farm Bill and Chapter 443 of the Texas Health and Safety Code. State laws vary, which is why we do not ship to some states.

Do I have to be 21 to buy?

Yes. Our products are for adults 21 and older only, and orders may require age verification. Keep them out of reach of children and pets.

Are 8th Wonder THC drinks alcohol-free?

No. Our drinks and THC spirits are zero-proof: no alcohol, just hemp-derived THC. They are still intoxicating, so do not drive or operate machinery after drinking them.

Where do you ship?

We ship within the United States to adults 21 and older. Because state laws vary, we currently do not ship to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Kansas, Mississippi, Ohio or Tennessee. If your address is not available at checkout, we cannot ship there.

CANNABIS FAQS

CANNABIS FAQS

CANNABIS FAQS

  • THC Warning Statements & Disclaimers
    • Warning: Contains THC.
    • This product is intended for use by adults 21 years and older. Keep out of reach of children.
    • There may be health risks associated with the consumption of this product.
    • There may be additional health risks associated with the consumption of this product for those who are pregnant, nursing, or plan to become pregnant.
    • The intoxicating effects of this product may be delayed by two or more hours.
    • May cause drowsiness or impairment. Do not drive a motor vehicle or operate machinery while using this product.
    • Use of this product may result in a positive drug screen.
  • What is Delta-9 THC?

Delta-9 THC, or delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, is the primary psychoactive compound in cannabis. It is responsible for the "high" sensation often associated with cannabis use.

  • How is this legal?

Consumable hemp products containing less than 0.3% Delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) are permitted under Chapter 443 of the Texas Health & Safety Code.

  • What is the age limit?

Our products are for adult use only. Legal serving age is 21+. Keep out of reach of children.

  • What effects can I expect?

Some consumers report that low-dose THC products may provide an uplifting, relaxing, or euphoric experience, though individual effects can vary widely. 8th Wonder makes no claim, promises, or guarantees regarding potential effects.

  • How fast will I feel the effects?

Our proprietary nano-emulsion is absorbed significantly quicker than traditional edibles. We like to say our products are fast acting, and not long lasting. While this varies based on various factors (tolerance, body composition, diet, etc.), onset typically begins within 15-25 minutes, and can last 60-90+ minutes.

  • What is the recommended serving dose?

Our beverages and gummies are low and approachable in the grand scheme of things. But as mentioned, everyone is different. We suggest new users and the canna-curious to start slow and low. If this is your first time enjoying a THC beverage or gummy, you may want to start with our lowest dose and wait 30-45 minutes to see how you feel. While these beverages/gummies are non-alcoholic, we crafted them to be enjoyed socially and responsibly.
