Looking for a tequila alternative?
Start with Ocho Verde Agave. It has a crisp, earthy sweetness that nods to traditional agave spirits, without the alcohol, so it slots into margarita-style and ranch water-style serves. Citrus works the same way for a brighter, lemon-lime take. Original (Vanilla) is the most versatile base, Espresso is built for coffee serves, and Peach, Pineapple and Maracuya lean fruity.
How to pour it
- Measure first. Use a jigger: 1.5 oz is about 6mg THC, 1 oz is about 4mg.
- Neat or on the rocks. Pour a measured serving over a large ice cube.
- Long and bubbly. Top a measured pour with soda water, tonic or a citrus soda, with a squeeze of lime.
- Zero proof only. Do not mix Ocho Verde with beer, wine or liquor. Pick one or the other.
- One serving, then wait. Effects can be delayed by two hours or more, so wait before pouring another.

Ocho Verde FAQ
What is Ocho Verde?
Ocho Verde is a zero-proof cannabis spirit: a hemp-derived THC spirit in a 750mL bottle that you pour like liquor, into mocktails or over ice, with no alcohol. It comes in seven flavors: Original (vanilla), Agave, Peach, Maracuya (passionfruit), Pineapple, Citrus and Espresso.
How much THC is in Ocho Verde, and how much should I pour?
Each 750mL bottle of Ocho Verde contains 100mg THC in total: about 4mg per 1 oz pour, or about 6mg per 1.5 oz serving (roughly 17 servings per bottle). Measure with a jigger rather than free-pouring. If you are new to THC, start with a single serving and give it plenty of time before having more.
How much THC is in a shot of Ocho Verde?
A 1.5 oz pour, a standard shot, is about 6mg THC. A 1 oz pour is about 4mg. Each 750mL bottle holds 100mg in total. Measure with a jigger rather than free-pouring.
Is Ocho Verde tequila?
No. Ocho Verde is a zero-proof, hemp-derived THC spirit and contains no alcohol. The Agave flavor is a nod to traditional agave spirits, which is why it works in margarita-style and ranch water-style serves.
How many servings are in a bottle?
About 25 one-ounce servings (about 4mg each) or about 17 servings of 1.5 oz (about 6mg each), from 100mg THC per 750mL bottle.
Where is Ocho Verde made?
In Houston, Texas, by 8th Wonder.
How is a THC spirit different from alcohol?
A THC spirit like Ocho Verde has no alcohol. Instead of proof, each pour is measured in milligrams of THC, about 4mg per 1 oz (6mg per 1.5 oz serving). It is still intoxicating and THC can take two hours or more to fully kick in, so measure your pour, pace yourself and do not drive after drinking it.
How do I make a THC mocktail?
Keep it simple. Pour Wonder Water Lime over ice with a squeeze of lime for a THC Ranch Water mocktail. For Ocho Verde, measure 1 oz (about 4mg THC) and mix it with juice, soda or sparkling water over ice.
Can I mix THC drinks with alcohol?
We do not recommend it. Our THC drinks are made as a zero-proof alternative to alcohol, and both are intoxicating, so pick one or the other. Never drive after drinking either.
How long until I feel it?
It varies with tolerance, body weight, food and how much you pour. Effects can be delayed by two hours or more, so stick to one measured serving and wait before having more.
